Cause for Coffee

Cause for Coffee is our latest initiative geared specifically towards enriching the lives of our consumers and the world around us. The avenue by which we have chosen to do both is through “The Svelte Box.”

The Svelte Box is a curated box with a few things we are most passionate about as a brand – great ideas and great coffee! We teamed up with some of the best companies to bring you items that are crafted in excellence and won’t compromise your commitment to being an ethical consumer.

Our first box will include our brand new Miseducation” coffee mugs along with packaged coffee from our partners at Community Coffee, journals from Cast Iron Design and Baron Fig, and as a bonus, our new slogan button pins and stickers. All of this is for YOU! With this box, not only will you get some great stuff to help start your day but you will also be helping a greater cause, as a portion of the proceeds benefit Peace Preparatory Academy. These Limited Edition boxes are available NOW!

Peace Preparatory Academy

It's with great hope and excitement that we want to announce our partnership with Peace Preparatory Academy. PeacePrep is a K-5 school located in the English Avenue community of Atlanta, GA. Peace Prep's vision is to transform the lives of its students, their families, and the surrounding community. Please visit their link to find out more about their mission and story.

A Svelte Solution

In order to assist in getting a playground for the school/community, WE are taking up the charge! Through fundraising efforts we will help Peace Prep purchase a portable playground via the company Imagination Playground. At The Svelte Group, we strongly believe that play is essential to the growth and development of children and we want to help facilitate this aspect of learning in the English Ave community.

English Ave we have a problem

A few months back we had the pleasure of meeting with Benjamin Wills, Founding Principal of Peace Prep. During our meeting we were given a tour of the school, we were able to meet the staff and the students, and Mr. Wills also shared with us the needs of the school and the community. It was at this time we were astounded to find out that the kids in the neighborhood did not have a playground in the immediate area. Mr. Wills explained that he wanted to obtain a playground set for the school and we asked him how we could help.
